"What a gem! Amazing beef steak pie, with caramelised onion mash & gravy at the end of a walk in the Lakes. Followed by marmalade ice cream all made on the farm. Others in the group tried some of the other types of pie including vegetarian option and all agreed ever ones meal was excellent."
"We were walking past this cafe & went in for a drink. So glad we did. The girl at the front was very welcoming & offered us a table upstairs where their is plenty of room. The coffee is exceptional ( coming from Sydney I am a tough Critic. Made perfect , also the hot chocolates were very nice along with the breakfast ( bacon rolls. My son said the bread was lovely. Coffee was that good I got another on the way back. The overall food /‘coffee , service & vibe is one of the best in the lakes."
